An austenitic stainless steel welded joint where the base metal and the weld metal contain by mass C: 0.3% or below, Si: 2% or below, Mn: 0.01 to 3.0%, P: more than 0.04% to 0.3%, S: 0.03% or below, Cr: 12 to 30%, Ni: 6 to 55%, rare earth elements: more than 0.2% to 0.6%, sol. Al: 0.001 to 3% and N: 0.3% or below with the balance being Fe and impurities and satisfy the relationship: (Cr+1.5~Si+2~P)/(Ni+0.31~Mn+22~C+14.2~N+5~P)<1.388. The welded joint is excellent in weld solidification cracking resistance, though it has a high P content and causes complete austenitic solidification. Thus, the joint is widely applicable to fields requiring welding. In the above relationship, each atomic symbol represents the content of the element by mass%.

Le joint soudé offre une excellente résistance à la fissuration par solidification de soudure, bien qu'il possède une teneur en P élevée et provoque une solidification austénitique complète.
