In the present invention, a soft pliable rough-surfaced rubber strip is used at the rear side of the inside of a basketball hoop net; this said rubber strip, with the help of automatic friction force, gives the ball passing down the said net a spin so that when this ball ultimately falls down and strikes the ground, the said spin makes the ball bounce back automatically away from the basketball hoop stand and towards the place where or near where the player usually is. This reduces the efforts of the player to retrieve the ball by going towards the said stand as he would have done otherwise most of the times. Such rotatory (spinning) movement (and/or some forward push) could be imparted to the ball by various other devices, such as, by making the net longer at the back, having a rough ended projection from the backboard that would touch the falling ball from the net, etc.. Any two or more of such features may be combined in the same net or board or stand, etc..
