It is very difficult to ascertain if a vehicle is going to slow down and stop at lighted intersections and four-way-stop intersections, that is why there is a need for a front vehicle brake light. The present invention (The Auto Safety Light) is a fourth brake light located on the windshield of a motor vehicle. This Safety Light could be mounted on the middle of the dashboard, or behind the rear view mirror facing the windshield. This front brake light would work in tandem with the rear brake lights and the rear window brake light. When the brake peddle is depressed the brake lights are illuminated including the front brake light. Motorists could tell at a glance if oncoming vehicles in an intersection were braking or not, and use defensive driving techniques to avoid collisions. Many pedestrians are hit every year because they step out into an intersection thinking that the oncoming traffic is stopping, when in fact they it is not. With this new Front Safety Light, the pedestrians chances of being hit by a motor vehicle would be greatly reduced, do to the fact that pedestrians would be informed instantly to whether the approaching vehicles were stopping or not.
