The invention relates to an autobody skin piece, which has a thickness ranging from 0.8 to 1.2 mm, and which is made of an alloy comprised of ( % by weight): 0.7 1.3 of Si; <0.5 of Fe; 0.5 1.1 of Cu; 0.4 1.0 of Mn; 0.6 1.2 of Mg; <0.7 of Zn; <0.25 of Cr; <0.20 of Zr + Ti; other elements, each of which being <0.05 and totaling <0.15, and; the remainder consists of aluminum. The skin piece has, after solution treatment, tempering and age-hardening for 3 weeks at ambient temperature, an elastic limit R¿0.2? less than 170 MPa, preferably, 160 MPa. The inventive piece exhibits, when fixed in a pre-painted state to a steel structure, an improved behavior with regard to differential expansion with the steel.
L'invention a pour objet une pièce de peau de carrosserie de voiture, d'épaisseur comprise entre 0,8 et 1,2 mm, en alliage de composition (% en poids) Si : 0,7 -1,3 Fe < 0,5 Cu : 0,5 -1,1 Mn : 0,4 -1,0 Mg : 0,6 -1,2 Zn < 0,7 Cr < 0,25 Zr + Ti < 0,20 autres éléments < 0,05 chacun et < 0,15 au total, reste aluminium, présentant après mise en solution, trempe et maturation de 3 semaines à température ambiante, une limite d'élasticité R0,2 inférieure à 170 MPa, et de préférence à 160 MPa. La pièce selon l'invention présente, lorsqu'elle est fixée avant peinture sur une structure en acier, un comportement amélioré à la dilatation différentielle avec l'acier.
