In a roll bending machine used to bend sheet metal, the castellated rollers are subject to the pressure of a series of three presser rollers whose axes are parallel to the axes of the castellated rollers, namely a median presser roller exerting pressure simultaneously on each of the castellated rollers and so-called lateral rollers, the line of contact between the lateral rollers being situated above the plane defined by the axes of the castellated rollers, the axes of the rollers in the so-called mobile combination of the presser and castellated rollers being essentially fixed in relation to each other.

Dans une rouleuse qui sert à cintrer les toles, les rouleaux crénelés sont soumis à la pression d'un train de trois rouleaux presseurs d'axes parallèles aux axes des rouleaux crénelés, à savoir un rouleau presseur médian faisant pression à la fois sur chacun des rouleaux crénelés, et des rouleaux dits latéraux la ligne de contact entre ces derniers étant située au-dessus du plan défini par les axes des rouleaux crénelés, les axes des rouleaux de l'ensemble, dit mobile, des rouleaux presseurs et crénelés étant substantiellement fixes les uns par rapport aux autres.
