An automated bulk dispensing system (10) and a method of use including selectively receiving a predetermined amount of radioactive liquid from a second container (50) into a third container (46), selectively receiving a predetermined amount of nonradioactive liquid from a first container (48) into a fourth container (44) or directly into the third container (46) depending on whether kits or multi-dose containers of medicine are desired. Preferably, this is for nuclear pharmaceuticals. Displacement mechanisms that are connected to the third container (46) and fourth container (44) are for mixing and dispensing liquid. There is at least one control valve (52), preferably three control valves, which are each controlled by drive mechanisms. The mixed liquid from the third container can be transferred to a recipient container. There is also a gas vent and bubble detector to eliminate bubbles with a processor that is also utilized to control the displacement mechanisms and the drive mechanisms.
L'invention porte sur un système de distribution en vrac automatisé (10) et sur un procédé d'utilisation qui consiste à recevoir sélectivement une quantité prédéterminée de liquide radioactif d'un second réceptacle (50) à un troisième réceptacle (46); recevoir sélectivement une quantité prédéterminée de liquide non radioactif d'un premier réceptacle (48) à un quatrième réceptacle (44) ou directement dans le troisième réceptacle (46) en fonction des kits ou des réceptacles de médicaments multi-doses, ces réceptacles étant de préférence destinés à des produits pharmaceutiques nucléaires.
