A system and method for selling a product through a website comprised of: a map display, a database of existing product owners, a "Discussion Forum" and an "Online Store". The "map of product demonstration providers" display is automatically centered over the geographical location of each new visitor to the website and displays clickable icons, each one representing a local existing owner of the product who has agreed to meet with website visitors to demonstrate their own example of the product in exchange for remuneration if their efforts result in a new online sale. Website visitors arrange their product demonstration meeting with an existing owner using anonymous email messages forwarded through the website's Discussion Forum. If their meeting results in a sale, the transaction processed through the website's Online Store automatically pays the existing owner their sales commission. If the new owner agrees to it, the transaction also adds their own icon to the website's "map of demonstration providers" display. This recruitment process exponentially expands the product's sales force to create "viral selling". In a preferred embodiment, boldly displaying the website's URL on the product results in "viral advertising" that amplifies the efficiency of its viral sales force.
