A method of generating a template in an implantable medical device for implantation within a patient, and a processor readable medium for performing the method, that includes generating a template corresponding to a supraventricular rhythm of the patient, determining whether the template is valid, and monitoring the template to determine whether the template is an accurate representation of the supraventricular rhythm. The template is created from non-paced R waves that are below a predetermined heart rate, and a statistical validation of the template is performed by evaluating the template based on matches against ongoing slow heart rhythm. The quality of the template is continuously monitored, similar to the statistical validation, with the exception that one thousand beats are evaluated and once more than thirty out of the last one hundred beats do not match the template within the threshold, an attempt is made to create a new template.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de génération de modèle de référence dans un dispositif médical destiné à être implanté chez un sujet, et un support lisible par processeur pour la mise en oeuvre du procédé. Ce procédé implique la génération d'un modèle de référence correspondant à un rythme supraventriculaire du sujet, l'évaluation de la validité du modèle de référence, et la surveillance du modèle de référence de façon à déterminer s'il correspond à une représentation précise du rythme supraventriculaire. Ce modèle de référence est créé à partir d'ondes R non électro-entraînées restant en dessous d'une cadence cardiaque définie, la validation statistique du modèle de référence intervenant ensuite sur la base des concordances avec un rythme cardiaque lent de longue durée. La qualité du modèle de référence fait l'objet d'une surveillance continue, au même titre que la validation statistique, à cela près que l'évaluation porte sur un millier de battements, et que dès qu'au moins trente des derniers battements ne correspondent pas au modèle de référence défini dans les limites du seuil, il y a tentative de création d'un nouveau modèle de référence.
