ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention is an automatic container washing and beverage dispensing machine that can be used in dispensing gas containing beverages such as draft beer, and the like. One or more containers are washed automatically and the beverage is dispensed automatically into one or more of the washed containers as required without the necessity of a person having to handle the containers while the containers are being washed and the beverage is being dispensed. The invention also covers a method of automatically dispensing a beverage into a glass. The method comprises automatically gripping a glass with a holder, and automatically dispensing a predetermined quantity of beverage into the glass while the glass is being held by the holder.
