A cart for transporting golf clubs or other objects and accessories comprises one or more electric drive motors connected to one or more wheels of the cart, said motor or motors being fed by a battery installed on board, one or more electronic controllers operated to control the motor or motors in both directions of movement, a plurality of sensors, peripherally disposed on the cart, used to detect the presence of obstacles in the path of the cart and to sense the ultrasound signals coming from an external signal source associated with the user, at least a microcomputer control unit, interfacing said sensors, capable of driving said electronic controller or controllers according to an algorithm useful to lead said cart into the proximity of said external signal source. A preferred lay out of the above mechanical and electrical components provides two wheels aligned on a horizontal transversal axle located in correspondence of the advance section of the cart, said wheels being separately connected to the frame and to two respective electric traction motors, and one or more wheels, located in correspondence to the opposite section of the cart, connected to the frame by cylindrical hinge with vertical axle so that they can freely rotate around their own horizontal axle and also around said vertical axle passing in the proximity of the point of contact on the ground of said wheel or wheels.
L'invention concerne un chariot de transport de clubs de golf ou d'autres objets et accessoires comprenant un ou plusieurs moteurs à propulsion électriques reliés à une ou plusieurs roues du chariot, le ou les moteurs étant alimentés par une batterie installée à bord; un ou plusieurs organes de commande électroniques destinés à commander le ou les moteurs dans deux directions de déplacement; plusieurs détecteurs disposés de manière périphérique sur le chariot et destinés à détecter la présence d'obstacles sur le trajet du chariot et à détecter les signaux ultrasonores provenant d'une source de signaux extérieure associée à l'utilisateur; et au moins une unité de commande de micro-ordinateur, faisant interface avec les détecteurs et capables de commander le ou les organes de commande électroniques en fonction d'un algorithme permettant d'orienter le chariot à proximité de la source de signaux extérieure. Dans une disposition préférée des composants mécaniques et électriques ci-dessus, deux roues sont alignées sur un essieu transversal horizontal en correspondance avec la section antérieure du chariot, ces roues étant reliées séparément au châssis et à deux moteurs de traction respectifs; et une ou plusieurs roues, correspondant à la section opposée du chariot, sont reliées au châssis par une charnière cylindrique avec un essieu vertical de sorte qu'elles peuvent tourner librement autour de leur propre essieu horizontal et également autour de l'essieu vertical passant à proximité du point de contact de la ou des roues avec le sol.
