ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An automatic chlorine distributor for private swimming pools is disclosed. The distributor comprises a reservoir adapted to contain liquid chlorine, a pump for feeding chlorine from the reservoir to the pool at a predetermined flow rate, and an electric circuit for energizing the pump for a predetermined time period, once at each nightfall, so as to distribute a predetermined quantity of chlorine into the pool.
