ABSTRACT An automatic concentrate fertilizer injection system for fertilizing plants in a greenhouse. Water is pumped through a combination pressure damper and flow stabilizer for regulating the water to a continuous flow. Concentrated fertilizer is injected into the continuous flow of water at a first predetermined rate of injection, and concentrated acid is injected into the flow of water at a second predetermined rate of injection. The water, acid and fertilizer are combined within a mixing chamber to produce a diluted fertilizer mixture. A desired p/H level and fertilizer solubility (i.e. concentration) level is programmed into a control unit of the system. The diluted fertilizer mixture flows into the control unit which in response detects the actual p/H and concentration levels. The control unit then generates frequency impulse signals having frequency proportional to the difference between the desired and detected p/H and concentration levels. The frequency impulse signals are transmitted to pumps for controlling the respective rates of injection of acid and concentrated fertilizer into the flow of water, thereby maintaining the desired p/H and fertilizer concentration levels of the mixture.
