ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: An automatic cooking control system for a microwave oven comprised of a micom for controlling the whole operation of a microwave oven, electric power source, magnetron for generating a microwave by the power supply according to the control of micom, fans disposed respectively at air inlet and air outlet of a heating chamber and detect the air temperature of inflow and outflow, and analog/digital converters for converting respectively the signals of air temperature detected at the temperature detecting sensors into the digital signals and then apply them respectively to the micom. The system of the invention performs an initial operation process, first stage heating process, and second stage heating process so that automatic cooking is completed, in which calculation for second stage heating against a temperature variation of ambient air around a microwave oven due to the change of season or even the change during operation of microwave oven being performed, therefore optimum cooking result can be obtained without regard to the temperature variation of ambient air arround a microwave oven. - 24 -
