ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An automatic looking control system for a microwave oven comprising an initial operation process which makes an air temperature of a heating chamber balanced by operating only a fan. A first stage heating operation process which comprises of actuating a magnetron since the initial operation process, detecting an outflow air temperature and storing it as a present temperature, obtaining an arithmetical mean of the present temperature and the previous temperature detected prior to a half rotational period of a turntable, and executing a first stage heating until the arithmetical mean is raised as much as a predetermined value established according to the kind of food. In a second stage heating operation process is carried out for a time which is obtained by multiplied the first stage heat- ing time by a predetermined value established by the kind of food. Thereby, it is possible to automatically cook a food by correctly establishing the heating time even though the outflow air temperature detected at a temperature sensor is oscillated by the rotation of the turntable.
