A method and system of identity masking to obscure identities corresponding to face regions in an image is disclosed. A face detector is applied to detect a set of possible face regions in the image. Then an identity masker is used to process the detected face regions by identity masking techniques in order to obscure identities corresponding to the regions. For example, a detected face region can be blurred as if it is in motion by a motion blur algorithm, such that the blurred region can not be recognized as the original identity. Or the detected face region can be replaced by a substitute facial image by a face replacement algorithm to obscure the corresponding identity.
L'invention porte sur un procédé et sur un système de masquage d'identité pour cacher des identités correspondant à des régions de visage dans une image. Un détecteur de visage est appliqué pour détecter un ensemble de régions de visage possibles dans l'image. Ensuite un masqueur d'identité est utilisé pour traiter les régions de visage détectées par des techniques de masquage d'identité afin de cacher des identités correspondant aux régions. Par exemple, une région de visage détectée peut être rendue floue comme si elle était en mouvement par un algorithme de flou de mouvement, de telle sorte que la région rendue floue ne peut pas être reconnue en tant qu'identité initiale. Ou la région de visage détectée peut être remplacée par une image de visage de substitution par un algorithme de remplacement d'image pour cacher l'identité correspondante.
