Abstract of the Disclosure An automatic inflating lifesaving buoy comprises a gas generating device provided therein with a gas generating composition, an electric ignition device for igniting said gas generating composition and a cooling agent for cooling the gas generated through burning or decomposition of said gas generating composition, an inflatable bag provided so as to communicate to a gas outlet of said gas generating device, which forms the life-saving buoy, and an inter-cell for supplying electric current to the above described electric- ignition device.
