The present invention relates to an automatic injector having a drive assembly with an actuator extending from the rearward end portion of the housing and a removal resistant cover for preventing unintended operation of the actuator. The present invention also relates to a sealing arrangement wherein the needle is sealed within a sterilized needle chamber by at least three sealing members which cooperate to form the chamber. Also, the present invention relates to an injector in which the cartridge is mounted to a tubular cartridge mounting portion of the needle carrier with an annular sealing member disposed therebetween. The cartridge mounting portion has at least one generally axially extending groove which allows air to escape from the cartridge mounting portion as the cartridge is being moved forwardly to a medicament supplying position.
La présente invention concerne un injecteur automatique qui comporte un ensemble entraînement avec actuateur monté contre la partie arrière du boîtier et un couvercle conçu pour empêcher une sollicitation non autorisée de l'actuateur. Cette invention concerne également un dispositif d'étanchéité selon lequel une aiguille est logée hermétiquement dans une chambre stérilisée par au moins trois éléments d'étanchéité qui coopèrent pour former ladite chambre. L'injecteur selon l'invention se caractérise par ailleurs en ce que la cartouche est logée dans une partie de montage tubulaire du porte-aiguille, ces deux pièces étant séparées par un élément d'étanchéité annulaire. La partie de montage de la cartouche comporte au moins une gorge qui est disposée plus ou moins axialement et par laquelle l'air s'échappe de la partie de montage lorsque la cartouche est amenée sur l'avant en position d'injection du médicament.
