A hearing aid system and method for processing one of an input magnetic signal, having magnetic information, and at least one acoustic input signal having acoustic information. The system comprises an acoustic sensor for providing the input acoustic signal, a magnetic sensor for providing the input magnetic signal, and a magnetic signal detector for selecting one of the input acoustic signal and the input magnetic signal as an information signal. The magnetic signal detector selects the input magnetic signal as the information signal when magnetic signal detection process has at least partially analyzed the input magnetic signal to determine if audio information may be present. The hearing aid system further comprises a hearing aid module for processing the information signal and providing an output signal to a user of the hearing aid system.
Un système et une méthode permettant de traiter un signal magnétique d'entrée comprenant des renseignements magnétiques, et au moins un signal acoustique d'entrée comprenant des renseignements acoustiques. Le système comprend un capteur acoustique pour fournir le signal d'entrée acoustique, un capteur magnétique pour fournir le signal magnétique d'entrée, et un détecteur de signaux magnétiques pour sélectionner un signal acoustique d'entrée, et un détecteur de signaux magnétiques pour sélectionner un signal acoustique d'entrée et le signal magnétique d'entrée comme un signal de renseignements. Le détecteur de signaux magnétiques sélectionne le signal magnétique d'entrée comme étant le signal de renseignements si le processus de détection des signaux magnétiques a au moins analysé en partie le signal magnétique d'entrée pour déterminer si des renseignements audio pourraient être présents. L'appareil auditif comprend de plus un module d'aide auditif pour le traitement de signaux de renseignements et la fourniture d'un signal d'entrée destiné à un utilisateur de l'appareil auditif.
