An automatic milking machine for the determination of quality of milk during the milking process comprises a distributing valve mechanism with a milk inlet and several milk outlets, a measurement apparatus, and a driving element, whereby the measurement apparatus has a detection means for automatically detecting particles in the milk stream. The driving element drives the distributing valve mechanism, depending on the amount of particles determined to be in the milk, so that milk of diminished quality is selected out.

L'invention concerne une installation de traite automatique comprenant, pour la détermination de la qualité du lait pendant la traite, un distributeur (301) pourvu d'une entrée de lait (302) et de plusieurs sorties de lait (303, 311), un dispositif de mesure, ainsi qu'un ordinateur de commande. Le dispositif selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce que le dispositif de mesure contient un dispositif de détection pour la détection automatique de particules dans le flux de lait et en ce que l'ordinateur de commande commande le distributeur en fonction de la quantité de particules déterminée dans le lait de sorte que le lait de moindre qualité est éliminé.
