An automatic paraffin removal unit, comprises a scraper body (3), a tumbler(4), an arc spring leaf (2) and a return torque spring(16), and the upper, lower commutators consist of a sleeve(1), an open spacing ring(5) and a tower spring(6). In operation, the scraper is clamped on a pumping rod(9), while the upper, lower commutators are respectively connected to the upper, lower ends of the tubing section from the well head to the section having toe temperature lower than paraffin deposition temperature requiring paraffin removal, the scraper moves up and down following the pumping rod, via unidirectional upward or downward movement, paraffin removal is performed to the inner wall of tubing and pumping rod unceasingly, and variations in direction being performed in the upper, lower commutators. The apparatus has the features of a reasonable structure, simple and convenient in mounting, able to perform reliable automatic running and long service life.
