The invention concerns a system which consists in inserting in an electronic message of appropriate type (for example HTML or XML format) a code automatically generating a request over a communication network when said message is being displayed by its recipient. The request consists in calling on a specific single name file server, or a page (URL) passing a single code as parameter. Said file name or said single code corresponding to a previously generated recording. The system can then select said recording and send to its author confirmation that the corresponding message has been actually displayed by the recipient.

L'invention consiste en l'insertion dans un message électronique de type appropié (par exemple format HTLM ou XML) d'un code générant automatiquement une requête sur un réseau de communication lors de l'affichage dudit message par son destinataire. La requête consiste en l'appel sur un serveur défini d'un fichier au nom unique, ou d'une page (URL) passant en paramètre un code unique. Ce nom de fichier ou ce code unique correspondant à un enregistrement préalablement crée. Le système peut alors sélectionner cet enregistrement et envoyer à son créateur affiché par le destinataire.
