The invention relates to an automatic system for repairing surfaces having natural patterns, particularly wood panels, wherein after the automatic detection and repair of the faulty regions by smoothing or doweling, the visually apparent repair regions are decorated locally by a numerically controlled decoration process, particularly an ink jet printing technology. To this end, the panel is captured optically by a scanner, which in particular can detect colors, in addition to an image generator suitable for detecting the faulty regions. From the global color and structure characteristics of the panel and the local color and structure characteristic of each individual faulty region, local decoration patterns to be applied automatically are derived, which allow the faulty region to not be apparent any longer and give the panel a desired aesthetic appearance both locally and globally.
La présente invention concerne un système automatique de réparation de surfaces présentant un motif naturel, notamment des panneaux en bois. Selon l'invention, après l'identification automatique et la réparation des défauts par rebouchage ou goujonnage, les zones réparées visibles gênantes sont décorées de façon locale à l'aide d'un procédé de décoration à commande numérique, notamment à l'aide d'une technologie d'impression à jet d'encre. Le panneau est non seulement soumis à une capture d'image par un système d'imagerie conçu pour détecter les défauts, mais également par un scanneur notamment capable de détecter les couleurs. A partir des caractéristiques de structure et de couleur globales du panneau et des caractéristiques de structure et de couleur locales de chaque région de défaut, des motifs de décoration locaux destinés à être appliqués automatiquement sont déduits, lesquels motifs permettent de dissimuler les défauts en tant que tels et de conférer au panneau un aspect esthétique souhaité à la fois de façon locale et de façon globale.
