The present invention provides an automatic monitor (10) for use in a tank (16) with a brine solution. The monitor (10) includes a signal emitter (38) that produces a signal capable of being detected by an array of signal- detecting sensors (40). The sensors (40) are displaced generally vertically in the brine tank (16) from the minimum depth of the brine to the maximum depth of the brine solution. An output is produced in response to said signal. The monitor (10) also includes a controller (42) for receiving and interpreting the output and determining if a low brine condition is present as the supply of the brine is depleted. An indicator (44) warns when a low brine condition is present. Preferably, the sensors (40) are linearly spaced within the tank (16).
La présente invention se rapporte à un dispositif de surveillance automatique (10) conçu pour être utilisé dans un réservoir contenant une solution hypersaline. Ledit dispositif de surveillance (10) comprend un émetteur de signal (38) qui produit un signal pouvant être détecté par un réseau de capteur (40) détecteur de signaux. Ces capteurs (40) sont déplacés généralement verticalement dans le réservoir de solution hypersaline (16) de la profondeur minimale de la solution hypersaline jusqu'à sa profondeur maximale. Une sortie est produite en réponse audit signal.
