A sealing arrangement is provided for a product weigh scale for a food processing apparatus the weigh scale including a support for supporting a product, a member that carries the support, and a weight sensor that senses vertical load on the member. The sealing arrangement includes a seal surrounding the member beneath the support, the seal having a first sealing surface configured to be sealed against a cabinet, and a second sealing surface. The seal is movable between an inactive position wherein the second sealing surface is out of contact with the support and a sealing position wherein the second sealing surface seals against the support. The seal includes a stationary part having the first sealing surface and a sliding part having the second sealing surface.
L'invention concerne un dispositif d'étanchéité destiné à une balance pour un appareil de transformation des aliments, la balance comprenant un support destiné à supporter un produit, un élément supportant ce support, et un détecteur de poids détectant une charge verticale sur ledit élément. Le dispositif d'étanchéité comprend un joint d'étanchéité entourant l'élément sous le support, ce joint d'étanchéité possédant une première surface d'étanchéité conçue pour être disposée de manière étanche contre un compartiment et une seconde surface d'étanchéité. Le joint d'étanchéité peut se déplacer entre une position inactive dans laquelle la seconde surface d'étanchéité n'est pas en contact avec le support, et une position d'étanchéité dans laquelle la seconde surface d'étanchéité entre en contact étanche avec le support. Le joint d'étanchéité comprend une partie fixe possédant la première surface d'étanchéité et une partie coulissante possédant la seconde surface d'étanchéité. Une pluralité de ressorts sollicitent la partie coulissante vers la position d'étanchéité et une source de fluide sous pression est injectée entre la partie coulissante et la partie fixe de façon à solliciter la partie coulissante vers la position inactive. Le fluide sous pression présente une pression suffisante pour s'opposer à la sollicitation des ressorts et maintient la partie coulissante en position inactive pendant un fonctionnement normal de la balance. Ainsi, lors d'une interruption de l'alimentation en fluide sous pression, les ressorts poussent la partie coulissante en position d'étanchéité.
