A method of printing an ad slogan on a mailpiece, including establishing one or more date ranges and one or more pre-selected ad slogans, wherein each of the date ranges has one of the pre-selected ad slogans corresponding thereto. The method further includes determining a current date (the date on which an ad slogan is to be printed on said mailpiece), determining whether the current date falls within a particular one of the one or more date ranges, and if the current date falls within a particular one of the one or more date ranges, printing on the mailpiece the preselected ad slogan that corresponds to the particular one of the one or more date ranges. Also, various mail processing systems for implementing the method, including both traditional and so called virtual mail processing system.
L'invention concerne un procédé d'impression d'un slogan publicitaire sur une pièce de courrier, procédé consistant à établir une ou plusieurs périodes et un ou plusieurs slogans publicitaires présélectionnés, chacune desdites périodes comportant l'un des slogans publicitaires présélectionnés correspondant à celles-ci. Le procédé consiste en outre à déterminer une date réelle (date à laquelle un slogan publicitaire doit être imprimé sur ladite pièce de courrier), à déterminer si la date réelle tombe dans l'une des périodes précitées, à imprimer sur la pièce de courrier le slogan publicitaire qui correspond à l'une, particulière, de ces dates. L'invention concerne également divers systèmes de traitement de courrier pour la mise en oeuvre du procédé précité, y compris le système traditionnel et le système dit virtuel de traitement de courrier.
