AUTOMATIC SPIN CAST REEL ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The device of the invention utilizes an adjustably positionable mercury switch to actuate a solenoid which in turn releases the line on the spinning reel in response to the reel reaching a predetermined angle or position in the casting motion. This feature allows the line to be consistently released at the proper position in order to achieve the desired length of cast.
