The invention relates to an automatic system for storing bicycles, said system comprising a plurality of bicycles (1) which each carry a blocking device (8) and an electronic circuit, at least one area (7) for storing and receiving bicycles (1) when they are not being used, and a control device (2) which is adapted in such a way as to selectively authorise the borrowing of the bicycles stored in said area. The control device and the bicycles respectively comprise a communication interface which is wireless at close range, and the bicycles are provided with an electrical locking device which is adapted in such a way as to lock the blocking device in a blocking position.
Système automatique de stockage de cycles comprenant une pluralité de cycles (1) portant chacun un dispositif de blocage (8) et un circuit électronique, au moins une aire (7) de stockage de cycles destinée à recevoir des cycles (1) lorsqu'ils ne sont pas en cours d'utilisation, et un dispositif de commande (2) adapté pour sélectivement autoriser l'emprunt des cycles dans l'aire de stockage. Le dispositif de commande et le cycle comportent chacun une interface de communication sans fil à courte portée, et le cycle comporte un dispositif de verrouillage électrique adapté pour verrouiller le dispositif de blocage en position de blocage.
