An automatic truss jig setting system is disclosed that includes a table including a plurality of segments with a side edge of adjacent segments defining a slot. At least one pin assembly, and optionally a pair of pin assemblies, is movable independently of each other along the slot. Movement apparatus is provided for independently moving the pin assemblies along the slot. Each of the side edges of the segments associated with the slot defines a substantially vertical plane with a zone being defined between the substantially vertical planes of the side edges, and the movement apparatus is located substantially outside of the zone of the slot. The invention may optionally include a system for handling the obstruction of pin assembly movement, and a system for keeping track of the position of the pin assembly when the pin assembly has encountered an obstruction.
L'invention concerne un système automatique de gabarit pour contrefiches qui comprend une table comprenant une pluralité de segments pourvue d'un bord latéral de segments adjacents définissant une fente. Au moins un ensemble broche, éventuellement une paire d'ensembles broches, sont mobiles indépendamment les uns des autres le long de la fente. Un appareil de déplacement permet de déplacer indépendamment les ensembles broches le long de la fente. Chaque bord latéral des segments associés à la fente définit un plan sensiblement vertical de façon à définir une zone entre les plans sensiblement verticaux des bord latéraux et l'appareil de déplacement est situé sensiblement à l'extérieur de la zone de la fente. L'invention peut éventuellement comprendre un système permettant de manipuler l'obstacle du mouvement de l'ensemble broche et un système permettant de suivre la position de l'ensemble broche lorsque celui-ci rencontre un obstacle.
