AUTOMATIC ULTRASONIC FLAW DETECTOR FOR TUBES ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An automatic ultrasonic flaw detector for tubes having a rotatable detector body, an axially movable cylindrical member for rotatably and coaxially supporting the detector body, and a driving device in the cylindrical member for rotating the detector body. The detector body has an ultra- sonic probe, a rotatable acoustic mirror for reflecting the ultrasonic wave from the probe, a calibration test piece with an artificial flaw formed thereon, and a driving device for rotating the acoustic mirror to selectively changing the direction of the reflected ultrasonic wave towards the tube to be inspected or the calibration test piece.
