A hand-held, electrically powered, plunger-free, valve-free adjustable veterinary delivery system for the administration of veterinary pharmaceuticals or vaccines to poultry or livestock. The delivery system includes an easy to transport carrier having a rechargeable battery positioned therein to power an electric motor which is used to actuate a peristaltic pump that propels fluid medicament through the system for delivery to the poultry or livestock. An additional pump propels a pre-determined quantity of dye to externally mark each bird or animal as it is medicated. One embodiment teaches adjustable dosage control of the fluid medicament by means of a photo-optic electronic unit. Another embodiment teaches dosage control of the fluid medicament by a cassette equipped with gears to accurately control delivery of a pre-determined dose. Different dosage amounts requires changing the cassette. The veterinary delivery system includes a push-button handle having a needle guard, a headlight, a reversible pump, a dye-delivery pump, signal lights and can include a mixing chamber for mixing medicaments at the time of delivery of the medicament.
