Abstract of the Disclosure Automatic wind-up roller for a safety belt with means to stop the belt from unwinding in case of danger. The wind-up roller has a release mechanism activated when a predetermined accelera- tion or deceleration is exceeded, a control lever activated by the release mechanism, a control disc with elastic yielding control teeth which couple with the control lever, and a locking mechan- ism activated by the control disc to block the control shaft.
