ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A circuit for automatically setting the zero of a digital display used in connection with automatic weigh scales. A strain gauge is incorporated in a measuring bridge and the output voltage supplied to a voltage-frequency transducer. The signal from this transducer is fed to a counter which is preset so as to register about zero at the tare weight of the mechanism. A correction unit also feeds pulses to the counter. The correction unit is responsive to deviations from a given magnitude in the count value, detected by a differentiating unit to supply the appropriate correction.
