ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An automatically set pressure reducing valve comprising a diaphragm, a pressure setting spring, means for adjusting the resilient force of the spring and an actuator for controlling the means, the actuator being placed in operation when a difference detected between the pressure of a fluid on the secondary side of the valve and a target value for a set pressure is larger than a standard difference, while it is placed out of operation when the detected difference has become virtually zero.
