A vehicle body frame puller (10) attachment which includes a generally triangular main member (12) having three sides (14, 16, 18) with opposite side edges (20, 22) extending along each of the sides. The main member comprises a first side (14) adapted for coupling to a chain to facilitate pulling on the main member using the chain, with a generally round aperture (24) for freely passing a portion of a chain therethrough and a pair of chain slots (26, 27) for positioning a link of the chain in one of the chain slots such that an adjacent link in the chain is prevented from passing through the chain slot. A second side (16) has four door hinge slots (32-35) with each of the door hinge slots being elongate and having longitudinal axes extending substantially parallel to the side edges. A third side (18) has a plurality of bolt slots (40-43) for coupling to various bolt patterns used to attach door hinges to different vehicles. Optionally, a pair of brackets (46, 48) is provided for adjustably coupling to the door hinge slots of the second side of the main member and for engaging a respective end of a door hinge on a door post of the vehicle body. Also optionally, a loop (64) may be mounted on the main member for receiving a portion of a chain, with the loop being looped about the main member.

L'invention porte sur un dispositif (10) de redressement par traction de châssis de véhicules automobiles comportant un élément principal sensiblement triangulaire à trois faces (14, 16, 18) et des bords latéraux opposés. L'élément principal (20, 22) présente: un premier côté (14), fixable à une chaîne permettant d'exercer une traction sur ledit élément, une ouverture sensiblement circulaire (24) où peut passer facilement une extrémité de la chaîne, et une paire de fentes (26, 27) servant à engager un maillon de la chaîne tout en empêchent le maillon suivant d'y passer; un deuxième côté (16) présentant quatre fentes allongées parallèles (32 à 35) correspondant aux charnières de porte, et dont les axes longitudinaux sont sensiblement parallèles aux bords latéraux; et un troisième côté (18) présentant plusieurs fentes (40 à 43) servant à faire passer des boulons selon une géométrie adaptable aux charnières de porte des différents véhicules. On peut prévoir facultativement: une paire de brides (46, 48) se fixant aux fentes (32 à 35) pour charnières de porte du deuxième côté et pouvant s'engager respectivement dans les extrémités d'un charnière de porte d'un montant du châssis: ainsi qu'un anneau triangulaire (64) solidaire de l'élément principal et formant une boucle l'entourant.
