[TASK] In a vehicle side collision, a roof reinforcement member provided between left and right roof side rails is prevented from being bent despite a load acting on a center pillar, and the center pillar is prevented from moving toward the vehicle interior. [MEANS OF SOLVING THE PROBLEM] In an automobile roof structure in which each end 44 of the roof reinforcement member 4 is connected to a roof side rail 2 via a bracket 5, the base end of the bracket 5 is fixed to the end 44 of the roof reinforcement member 4, a base plate 50 of the bracket 5 has upstanding sections 51, 52, 53 that extend to a head edge 54 of the base plate, the upper end of an upstanding end edge 56 of each upstanding section abuts the upper end of a vehicle interior side-surface 21 of the roof side rail 2, a gap is provided between the lower portion of the upstanding end edge 56 and the side surface 21. A rotational moment M that is induced in the roof side rail 2 by a collision load acting from the center pillar 3 is not transmitted to the roof reinforcement member 4.
L'invention porte sur une structure de toit d'automobile dans laquelle, en cas de collision, une charge agissant sur un montant central prévient le fléchissement d'un élément de renfort de toit disposé entre des rails latéraux gauche et droit et dans laquelle, en même temps, le mouvement du montant central ver l'intérieur du véhicule est prévenu. Dans ce but, chaque extrémité (44) de l'élément de renfort de toit (4) est reliée à un rail latéral de toit (2) par un support (5). L'extrémité de base du support (5) est fixée à l'extrémité (44) de l'élément de renfort de toit (4). Le support (5) comporte une plaque de base (50) munie de sections verticales (51, 52, 53) s'étendant vers un bord de tête (54) de la plaque de base. L'extrémité supérieure du bord d'extrémité verticale (56) de chaque section verticale est engagée avec l'extrémité supérieure d'une surface côté intérieur de véhicule (21) du rail latéral (2). Un intervalle est prévu entre l'extrémité inférieure du bord d'extrémité verticale (56) et la surface latérale (21). Lorsqu'un moment de rotation (M) est induit dans le rail latéral de toit (2) par une charge de collision agissant sur le montant central (3), le moment (M) n'est pas transmis à l'élément de renfort de toit (4).
