Each rail set comprises one male component (3) and one female component (5) which has a generally U-shaped cross-section and slides on the male component (3), and a lock (9) attached to the female component (5). The lock comprises an attachment tab (91), one elastically flexible part (92) and one movable part (93) which comprises a locking tab (10), inserting into the rail set through an opening (16) in the female component (5) and carrying a means of locking (17) that engages in notches (37) in the male component (3). A lock release (7), located outside the rail components, is linked so as to move the said movable part (93) upward and elastically bend the flexible part (92), to move the means of locking (17) clear of the notches (37). Application to systems for adjusting the longitudinal position of automobile seats.

Chaque glissière comporte un profilé mâle (3) et un profilé femelle (5) de section générale en forme de U et coulissant sur le profilé mâle (3), et un verrou de blocage (9) fixé sur le profilé femelle (5). Le verrou comprend une patte de fixation (91), une partie élastiquement flexible (92), et une partie mobile (93) qui comporte une patte de verrouillage (10), pénétrant dans la glissière par une fenêtre (16) du profilé femelle (5) et portant des moyens de verrouillage (17) s'engageant en correspondance avec des crans (37) du profilé mâle (3).
