AUTOMOTIVE INNER-BULB ASSEMBLY Abstract of the Disclosure An inner-bulb assembly for use in an automotive lamp unit such as a headlamp or foglamp unit comprising an inner-bulb, an electrically nonconductive base and a metallic spring clip. The base can be designed to retrofit an H3 type of base. Additionally the metallic spring clip serves to secure the assembly to the rest of the lamp unit and as an electrical conductor for one of the inner-bulb pin leads.
