ABSTRACT Page 1 This product may be both an automobile factory or an after market installation item intended to replace the horizontal lap seat belt. In this invention, a nylon bag is incorporated into the lap belt to provide (when inflated) protection to an individual in the event of a collision. This device is initiated by the "G" force exerted against the lap belt and activated by a series of mechanical actions to puncture a Co2 cylinder thusly providing a sufficient volume of gas to inflate an air bag or balloon.
