- 1 - ABSTRACT The companies known as: MANUFACTURE D'APPAREILLAGE ELECTRIQUE DE CAHORS AND ELECTRICITE DE FRANCE "Autonomous device for detection of faults on an electric network and process relating thereto" (invented by: Pierre SAVARY and Daniel TOUGNE) The autonomous device for detection of faults on an electric network comprises means (26) for detecting the presence of faults and delivering detection information, which axe connected to the said network by connection terminals (25), means of control and of processing (15), connected to the said means of detection (26), to process the detection information and generate fault analysis data, means of permanent storage (16), connected to the said means of control and of processing (15), to store the analysis data, and autonomous means of storage and of supply of power (31) for all or some of the abovementioned mean, The means of detection (15) [sic] also detect the times of appearance and of disappearance of the faults and the means of control and of processing (15) determine the respective duration of each of the said faults. To be used for the analysis of the quality of service of an electric network. (See Figure 3).
