The invention is an improvement to existing automobile headlamps of all sizes and varieties. The invention is placed on the front vertical face of an automobile headlamp manually by means of independent two - part fasteners. No tools are required as one part of the two- part fastener (the "hook" portion) is permanently adhered to the front vertical face of the headlamp and the second part of the fastener (the "loop" portion) is adhered to the molded lens. All that must be done to install the lens is that the independent hook and loop mounting devices must be mated to each other, then the protective backing must be removed from the pre-glued "hooks" and then a small degree of force is required to press the lens in place onto the face of the headlamp. The invention is a flat, transparent plastic or glass lens (may be coloured) that has bevels that are ground onto it's front face at a small angle that project upwards. The effect of this is that as the light projected by the headlight strikes the bevelled surface and is directed downwards toward the road surface at a steeper angle than the normally projected beam. This greatly reduces "glare" caused by the light bouncing back off water particles (of fog or snow) in the air during conditions of heavy fog or snow. The lens is designed to be used on the vehicle only during conditions of heavy fog or snow, and is designed to mount/remove quickly by means of up to four hook and loop fasteners adhered to the headlamp lens's face as well as adhered to the backside of the lens's spacers and this affectively secures the auxiliary lens to the headlamp lens's face by means of the interlocking hook and loop fasteners. This type of mount is designed so that the vehicle operator can use the lenses only during these conditions (of fog or snow) and remove them quickly and easily. The lenses work effectively both on the high and low beam headlight settings and do not significantly alter the effectiveness of the headlamps under normal driving conditions.
