ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: An auxiliary seat assembly for use in vehi- cles, having a seat cushion which is pivotably mounted on a base installed on the floor at the rear or lateral portion of the vehicle's cab. The seat assembly comprises a first link having one end pivotably mounted at the lower portion of the base, the other end being pivotably secured to the rear side of the seat cushion, and a second link having one end pivotably mounted at the upper portion of the base, the other end being pivotably secured as spaced from said first link, to the rear side of the seat cushion. The upper side of the seat cushion is directed frontward of the seat assembly when the seat cushion is turned to the upright position as the first and second links are turned.
