ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An auxiliary seat assembly for use in vehi- cles and foldably installed at the rear or lateral portion in the cab of a vehicle. The seat assembly comprises of a pocket formed in a body panel which forms the inner wall of the cab, and a pair of brackets disposed at the opposite ends of the pocket and each having an elongated guide hole which is gradually slanted depthwise of the pocket and upwards. A seat cushion is pivotably supported by the brackets in pair. A connecting arm is provided, one end of which is pivotably connected to the seat cushion and having a pin guided as engaged in and along the guide hole in the bracket. A seat back is mounted on the other end of the connecting arm.
