Abstract of the Disclosure An apparatus monitors the density of a flowing liquid and controls the flow thereof. The apparatus includes a body having an inlet and an out- let and adapted for the passage of the liquid therethrough. A movable member has a weight/volume ratio substantially equal to the density, which member is adapted to move freely within the body between its outlet and its inlet. The movable member is adapted sealingly to engage with either the inlet or the outlet.
