In an axial-centrifugal compressor, the rotor of which comprises an impeller (6), the axial play (8) is controlled by a special air ventilation to the rotor, by a circuit including two parallel arms (11, 13) the flow rates of which are both controlled by respective veins (12, 14) and where moreover the temperature in one of the latter is adjusted by a heat exchanger (15). The ventilation air is thus controlled, at the same time, in terms of temperature and flow rate.

Dans un compresseur axialo-centrifuge dont le rotor comporte un rouet (6), le jeu axial (8) est piloté par une ventilation particulière d'air vers le rotor, par un circuit comprenant deux branches parallèles (11, 13) dont les débits sont tous deux pilotés par des veines respectives (12, 14) et où de plus la température dans l'une d'elles est modifiée par un échangeur de chaleur (15). L'air de ventilation est ainsi piloté à la fois en température et en débit.
