The axial flow fan (1) comprises a central hub (3), a plurality of blades (4), each blade (4) having a root (5) and an end (6) and being delimited also by a convex edge (7), whose projection onto the plane of rotation of the fan is defined by a parabolic segment, and by a concave edge (8) whose projection onto the plane of rotation of the fan is defined by a circular arc. The blades (4) consist of sections having aerodynamic profiles (18) with a face (18a) comprising at least one initial straight-line segment (t) and a blade angle (.beta.) that decreases gradually and constantly from the root (5) towards the end (6) of the blade (4) according to a cubic law of variation as a function of the fan radius.
La présente invention concerne un ventilateur à flux axial (1) comprenant un moyeu (3) et une pluralité de pales (4). Chacune des pales présente un pied (5) et une extrémité (6) et est par ailleurs délimitée par un bord convexe (7) dont la projection sur le plan de rotation du ventilateur est définie par un segment parabolique, et par un bord concave (8) dont la projection sur le plan de rotation du ventilateur est définie par un arc circulaire. Les pales (4) se composent de sections dotées de profils aérodynamiques (18) avec une face (18a) présentant un segment initial (t) en ligne droite et un angle de pale (.beta.) qui va en diminuant progressivement et régulièrement du pied (5) jusqu'à l'extrémité (6) de la pale (4) selon une loi de variation cubique en fonction du rayon du ventilateur.
