AXIAL-FLOW FAN ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An axial-flow fan, particularly a small fan which is axially compact, with a scroll plate surrounding the impeller and whose inner contour has a cylindrical configuration in the vicinity of the axial median plane. The outside of the rotor housing at its closed end is provided with a step-wise reduction in the outer diameter thereof, allowing the outside of this portion of the rotor housing to serve as a hub for mounting and driving a fan wheel.
