A multiple impeller flow inducing device in which driver coils are intermittently energized in timed relation to rotation of the impellers (20A, 20B) to interact with permanently magnetized portions of the impeller to rotate the same. The impellers (20A, 20B) can be rotated in opposite directions or in the same direction. A two section impeller construction allows each section to be magnetized in opposite pole orientation and when assembled creates alternate pole orientations of successive portions, acurate segments forming a shroud or the type of blades can be magnetized to provide the impeller magnetized portions. Stator guide vanes can be interposed between successive impellers.

L'invention concerne un dispositif induisant un écoulement pourvu de plusieurs roues, dans lequel les bobines d'entraînement sont mises sous tension par intermittence, en synchronisme avec la rotation des roues (20A, 20B), de manière à interagir avec les parties aimantées de façon permanente de la roue pour entraîner sa rotation. Les roues (20A, 20B) peuvent tourner en sens inverse ou dans le même sens. Une configuration de roue à deux sections permet d'aimanter chacune des sections selon des polarités opposées, laquelle configuration, une fois assemblée, crée une alternance de polarités au niveau de segments successifs, et de segments arqués formant un épaulement. La pointe des aubes peut également être aimantée de manière à constituer les parties aimantées de la roue. Les aubes de guidage du stator peuvent être interposées entre des roues successives.
