L'invention concerne une pompe hydraulique à pistons axiaux du type à axe brisé comportant un barillet rotatif à axe central coopérant avec une glace de distribution associée selon une surface d'appui sensiblement perpendiculaire à cet axe, ledit barillet présentant une pluralité de perçages axiaux dans lesquels sont montés coulissants les pistons correspondants. Selon l'invention, un entraîneur distinct du barillet est prévu pour tourner selon un axe de rotation essentiellement confondu avec l'axe central, ledit entraîneur assurant d'une part le centrage et l'entraînement en rotation du barillet selon ledit axe de rotation, et d'autre part l'appui d'un moyen élastique pressant la surface d'appui du barillet contre la glace de distribution.
