The invention relates to an axle shaft comprising an electromechanically or pneumatically actuated disc brake, especially for a useful vehicle, said axle shaft being provided with a caliper (2), a disc brake (3), a clamping device (16) for carrying out a clamping movement, and at least one, preferably a plurality of post-regulating device(s) (7, 8) for adjusting the play between the brake jaws (4, 5) and the brake disk (3) on each side of the brake disk. The brake disk (3) and the caliper (2) can be displaced in relation to each other, and the caliper is fixed to the axle shaft on at least two fixing plates extending preferably from the axle shaft in different directions, at at least respectively one fixing point (A, B). Said axle shaft is characterised by the arrangement, especially the orientation and/or embodiment, of the fixing plates (20, 21), and the fixing points (A, B) of the caliper (2) or of an optional brake carrier on the fixing plates (20, 21), which is selected in such a way that there is either no displacement of the fixing points (A, B) on the fixing plates (20, 21) or a parallel displacement of the fixing points on both fixing plates (20, 21) perpendicularly to the brake disk (3).

L'invention concerne un corps d'axe comportant un frein à disque à actionnement électromécanique ou pneumatique, comportant un étrier de frein (2), un disque de frein (3), un dispositif de serrage (16) destiné à réaliser un mouvement de serrage, et au moins un, de préférence plusieurs dispositifs de réglage ultérieur (7, 8) destinés à régler le jeu de ventilation entre les mâchoires de frein (4, 5) et le disque de frein (3) sur chaque côté du disque de frein, le disque de frein (3) et l'étrier de frein (2) étant mobiles l'un par rapport à l'autre. Par ailleurs, l'étrier de frein est fixé au corps d'axe sur au moins deux attaches de fixation s'étendant de préférence à partir du corps dans deux directions différentes, sur au moins un point de fixation (A, B). Le corps d'axe selon l'invention est caractérisé par la disposition, notamment par l'orientation et la configuration des attaches de fixation (20, 21) et des points de fixation (A, B) de l'étrier de frein (2) ou d'un support de frein optionnel sur les attaches de fixation (20, 21), choisies de telle manière qu'il n'y a pas de décalage des points de fixation (A, B) sur les attaches de fixation (20, 21), ou un décalage parallèle des points de fixation (A, B), perpendiculairement au disque de frein (3), sur les deux attaches de fixation (20, 21).
