Compounds having formula (I), are antagonists of the actions of leukotrienes. These compounds are useful as anti-asthmatic, anti- allergic, anti-inflammatory and cytoprotective agents. They arc also useful in treating angina, cerebral spasm, glomerular nephfitis, hepatitis, endotoxemia, uveitis, and allograft rejection.

Composés de formule (I) se caractérisant par leur activité d'antagonistes des effets des leucotriènes. Ces composés sont utiles comme agents antiasthmatiques, antiallergiques, antiinflammatoires et cytoprotecteurs; on les utilise également pour traiter l'angine, les spasmes cérébraux, la glomérulonéphrite, l'hépatite, l'endotoxémie, l'uvéite et le rejet d'allogreffe.
